		<description>We&#039;ve talked a lot about doing that, but we don&#039;t see a way that will be both clear and fair.  For example, if someone is fired for willful disclosure of confidential information to a competitor, would it make sense that they should escape their non-compete?  There are a million termination scenarios and we decided that we had to stay away from the issue.</description>

		<description>What about forcing non-competes to make a distinction between employees voluntarily leaving a company and employees who are laid off or fired? It seems to me that if a company terminates an employee, it&#039;s fair to force them to also invalidate the employee&#039;s non-compete.</description>
